Tessa Cristina Tranchant

Tessa Cristina Tranchant tragically died in a motor vehicle accident. She was only 16 years old.

Tessa was a beautiful, bright, adventurous girl. She was full of life, love and laughter. She was intelligent, witty and a loyal friend to all who knew her - a beautiful spirit inside and out.

Tessa was born into this world on Dec. 19, 1990 in Arlington. She moved to Tidewater, Virginia when she was 3 years old and first attended North Landing and Christopher Farms Elementary Schools. She later moved to Princess Anne Middle School and then to Kellam High School with her sister, Kelsey Tranchant.

She worked part-time at Golden Corral and was a member of Courthouse United Methodist Church.

At 5 years old she developed an incredible talent for Irish step dance and danced in competitions all over the United States with the dance company, An Cor Rud (the reel thing). She was a prizewinner and had the talent to go even further in her career.

She loved riding horses, was a gifted guitar player and was an avid surfer.

She was a very beautiful girl, loved music, was an incredible friend and diplomat, loved to cook and watch comedies.

Tessa loved family and friends and leaves behind a family who adored her and will miss her tremendously.

Tessa was a gift from God and is dearly missed by all who knew her.
